It's been a year since Vancouver Trance Family last took over Village Studios. Now, we're coming back with something new. Introducing DISCOVERY, a new VTF series created to shine a light on the artists building, producing and shaping electronic music right here in Canada. For our first chapter, we couldn't think of a better place to begin than home. DISCOVERY 001 welcomes Vancouver's own Ghost Etiquette. Built on powerful, driving rhythms and the unmistakable emotion of uplifting trance, Ghost Etiquette has taken a sound born in Vancouver far beyond our city. Their music has appeared on A State Of Trance, Armada Captivating and AVA Recordings, earning support from Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Sean Tyas, Andrew Rayel and more. In 2022, their track , "rdquo" -> Hold On To Me" was selected for Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance, Ibiza compilation, marking another milestone in a journey that has taken their music from Vancouver to Prague, Amsterdam and beyond. That journey has also grown into Reverie Sounds, a label launched alongside ReOrder with a vision to create a home for the next generation of trance. On October 9, Vancouver Trance Family takes over Village Studios once again, this time opening the doors to DISCOVERY for the very first time. It feels only right for the first headliner to be an artist from our own city whose music has already travelled around the world. Ghost Etiquette leads DISCOVERY 001, with more Canadian and local talent still to be revealed. Because DISCOVERY is about showcasing the Canadian talents we are blessed with. The producers spending countless hours in the studio. The DJs developing their sound. The artists building something of their own. There is so much talent growing here at home.
