Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek + Thee Marloes at The American

About this event

Anatolian psych and vintage soul share a bill as Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek and Thee Marloes play live at The American in Vancouver. The quartet led by singer and bağlama player Derya Yıldırım folds Turkish folk into funk grooves and 70s psychedelia. Thee Marloes, a trio from Surabaya, Indonesia, brings warm retro soul. Part of VAN JAZZ 2026, presented by MODO-LIVE, The Plant and The Infidels Jazz.
