Silkroad Ensemble, led by Rhiannon Giddens (Pulitzer Prize, MacArthur Fellow), presents American Railroad at the Meridian Arts Centre, with vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant as featured guest. An ambitious project surfacing the erased voices — Indigenous, African American, Chinese, Irish — who built the Transcontinental Railroad. Salvant contributes her first Silkroad commission: Have You Seen My Man?
