Cellist Yo-Yo Ma performs at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. Born in Paris to Chinese parents and trained in the United States, he has recorded Bach's Cello Suites three times and founded the Silkroad Ensemble, which draws players from across the world. Roy Thomson Hall on Simcoe Street is downtown Toronto's main concert room.
