Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary Walk Ticket in Canada

The only wolfdog sanctuary in Canada, this non-profit rescue is devoted to education and awareness around wolfdogs and wild wolves. Its mission is to give rescued wolfdogs a meaningful, fulfilling life while offering hands-on education that promotes their well-being and a better understanding of these animals within our domestic world. By building genuine connections between its wolfdogs and the public, the sanctuary hopes to spark real appreciation for wolves in the wild and a renewed bond with the natural world. It lies just east of the Rocky Mountains near Cochrane, Alberta, on a 160-acre property that is currently home to a pack of more than 60 resident wolfdogs. Alongside its residents, a visitor centre offers souvenirs and educational resources about wolfdogs and wild wolves. Every dollar from admissions and merchandise goes straight toward caring for the animals and supporting future rescues. Please note: because of the sensitive nature of wolfdogs, children must be at least 6 years old to visit.
