Wild Whale Watching Experience - Open Air Vessel

A whale watching outing run by Granville Island's pioneering operator, the very first company of its kind in the area. The tours stay small and intimate and are led by marine naturalists who care deeply about wildlife and its conservation. The approach is a respectful one: no effort is made to influence the behaviour of the animals you meet, the aim instead being to watch them go about their lives naturally, within their own environment. The whales are never asked to perform. Information gathered during these trips is shared with marine research and conservation initiatives. The vessel is also accredited as an authorized whale watching boat, which legally allows it to approach wildlife more closely than other craft can, all while keeping a distance that stays respectful and safe for the animals and passengers alike.
