About this event

The Victoria Symphony welcomes violinist Ray Chen to the Royal Theatre for Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor. The concert marks Chen's long-awaited Victoria debut, from a soloist praised for his technique and stage presence. Conducted by Christian Kluxen, the programme also takes in Samy Moussa's Elysium and Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra. The Royal Theatre stands on Broughton Street downtown.
