The next chapter of the VSO's Beethoven cycle at the Orpheum Theatre. The Sixth, known as the 'Pastoral', is a sonic landscape of nature, storm and village celebration; the Eighth, shorter and playful, charms with its rhythmic wit and near-classical concision. Two contrasting sides of the Bonn master.
