Orchestra Toronto devotes an afternoon concert to three works written in 1899, at the Lyric Theatre of the Meridian Arts Centre on Yonge Street in Toronto. The programme brings together Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations, Amy Beach's Piano Concerto with soloist Anya Alexeyev, and Jean Sibelius's Finlandia. Three scores from the threshold of the 20th century.
