The Canadian Golha Orchestra welcomes vocalist Sepideh Raissadat to the George Weston Recital Hall at Meridian Arts Centre. The ensemble revives the golden age of Radio Tehran's Golha programme, where Iranian classical dastgah met Western orchestration. Raissadat, an ethnomusicology PhD candidate at U of T, is a leading interpreter of the Persian classical repertoire.
