About this event
Elephants in the Fog, the debut feature by Nepali director Abinash Bikram Shah, screens at the Toronto International Film Festival's Scotiabank Theatre. Pirati, matriarch of a Kinnar community in a Nepalese village, is torn between fleeing with the man she loves and staying to search for a missing woman. The film won the Jury Prize in Un Certain Regard at Cannes in May 2026.
