About this event
The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti, presented by Summer Opera Lyric Theatre at the Alumnae Theatre in Toronto. A two-act 1946 opera following Madame Flora, a professional medium who exploits grieving families, haunted by a real contact with the afterlife that destroys her. Professional staging, Canadian singers, piano accompaniment. Opera format in English, around 90 minutes with intermission. Summer 2026 production by the Toronto company.
