Pink Martini, the Portland 'little orchestra' founded in 1994 by Thomas Lauderdale, at Théâtre Capitole on Rue Saint-Jean. A dozen musicians, a repertoire sung in 25 languages weaving classical, tango, samba, swing and jazz. Their signature Sympathique (Je ne veux pas travailler) remains a beloved anthem.
