Pink Martini

Formed in Portland in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale, Pink Martini calls itself a « little orchestra » of about a dozen players. The band folds jazz, classical, Latin and vintage lounge pop into one set and sings in more than twenty languages. Its debut album Sympathique broke in France before it caught on at home. The group is touring its 30th anniversary shows through 2026.
