Photography & Walk at Night

This one-hour outing brings you to Gastown, one of Vancouver's landmark spots. Guided by a seasoned photographer and tour guide, you learn to capture great shots of the area's finest corners while uncovering their history, especially after dark. You make your way along Gastown's cobblestoned streets, home to its well-known Steam Clock along with other lesser-known gems. The tour closes with a look at the city's top places to eat and drink, plus tips on other locations that are ideal for night photography. On the technical side, the session covers long exposure for DSLR cameras as well as nighttime shots taken with camera phones. If you would rather, the time can go toward a photo shoot instead of learning photography. DSLRs are the best cameras to bring along, but you are equally welcome to use your camera phone. Come with comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing, a camera of any kind, and a sense of adventure!
