The Ligue nationale d'improvisation stages its Match Jeunesse at MTELUS in Montreal, an improv-theatre contest played inside a hockey rink. Since 1977 the LNI has run improv as a sport: actors take on themes drawn at random, a referee calls penalties, and the audience votes on each scene. Performed in French at MTELUS on Sainte-Catherine Street East.
