Korpiklaani at Fairmount Theatre
About this event
Korpiklaani play Fairmount Theatre in Montreal, a Finnish folk metal show where accordion and fiddle line up alongside distorted guitars. Formed in Lahti and fronted throughout by Jonne Järvelä, the band went by Shamaani Duo and then Shaman before settling on Korpiklaani in 2003. Their signature is the collision of humppa, Finland's take on oompah, with heavy metal.
