French producer and DJ David Carretta, an early architect of electroclash, plays the Fairmount Theatre on Avenue du Parc in Montreal. Since his 1993 debut on Harthouse he has released four albums and more than forty EPs, including Catalogue Électronique, and helped inspire DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolos label. His analogue techno leans on EBM and italo-disco.
