Halifax: Peggy's Cove tour

Coastal excursion from Halifax to the tiny fishing village of Peggy's Cove, following the winding highway of the Lighthouse Route. It is little wonder this seaside spot has inspired artists and drawn budding and seasoned adventurers alike, generation after generation. The colourful houses and fishing shacks perched atop the solid stone rocky outcrop that overlooks the restless waters of the Atlantic show the wear and tear of the ocean and its punishing storms. And yet they endure, much like the small population of roughly 32 people who live here year-round. The drive traces the classic maritime panoramas of the Nova Scotia shoreline, past wave-battered cliffs and shifting coastal light, all the way to this famous and much-photographed little village.
