Floatplane over the Glaciers: A Water Landing on Lake Lovely Water

A seaplane flight leaving Vancouver Harbour and setting down on an alpine lake in the British Columbia backcountry. The aircraft crosses the Tantalus Mountain Range, where glaciers and waterfalls follow one another, then lands on Lake Lovely Water, hemmed in by high peaks and reachable by little else. Time on the shore allows for a short walk, some photography, or simply sitting with the mountains before the flight home. In the air, a GPS-triggered audio commentary starts on its own as you pass over the landmarks below, filling in the history and the stories attached to them. Bring a smartphone and headphones; download instructions and an access code are sent out ahead of departure. A picnic lunch can be added for an extra charge by calling to book.
