Colonial Old Montreal Paranormal Investigation

Led by professional ghost hunter Dominique Desormeaux of Investigations 13, Haunted Montreal's 'Paranormal Investigation: Colonial Old Montreal' takes participants on a dark journey into the mysterious world of ghost hunting. Founded in 1642, the Ville-Marie Colony was the setting for countless public executions, torture, wars, beheadings, people burned alive, murders, and other horrific acts. Many restless spirits came into being there, both during the religious paranoia of the New France era and under the bureaucratic brutality of the British Regime, which took over in 1760. Participants will learn strategies and techniques to locate spirits and communicate with them. Ghost-hunting tools such as dowsing rods, EMF readers, temperature guns, and other devices will be made available to attempt contact with the many deranged spirits that haunt present-day Old Montreal.
