Begonia, music project of Alexa Dirks, a Canadian singer-songwriter born in Winnipeg, plays Ottawa. Formerly a member of Chic Gamine (Juno-winning group, 2010), with the Begonia solo project since 2017. Albums Fear (2019) and Powder Blue (2022). Indie-pop / soul / chamber-pop style with a recognizable powerful voice and introspective writing. Multiple Juno and Polaris Prize nominations. Around a 75 to
