Begonia

Begonia is the stage name of Alexa Dirks, a singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her big, soulful voice broke through with the 2017 EP Lady in Mind and its CBC hit "Juniper". The albums Fear (2019) and Powder Blue (2023) earned her JUNO Award and Polaris Music Prize nominations. In 2026 she is crossing Canada on The Fantasy Life Tour, supporting an album written in Los Angeles and recorded back home during a Winnipeg winter.
