Korpiklaani

Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk metal band founded in Lahti in 2003 by Jonne Jarvela, growing out of his earlier project Shaman. Fiddle and accordion trade lines with distorted guitars in songs about forests, feasts and drinking. After the English-language debut Spirit of the Forest, the band switched to Finnish lyrics with 2007's Tervaskanto and has kept up a steady run of albums, most recently Rankarumpu in 2024.
