The West End Cultural Centre (WECC) is a concert hall at 586 Ellice Avenue in Winnipeg, set in the former St. Matthews Church built in 1908. Turned into a cultural centre in 1987, this all-ages non-profit venue has launched many local artists, including The Weakerthans and The Watchmen. Its first concert, in October 1987, featured Spirit of the West.
