Events at Royal BC Museum

British Columbia's provincial museum, at 675 Belleville Street in Victoria's Inner Harbour precinct beside the legislature. It was founded in 1886 after citizens petitioned the government over the loss of the province's natural specimens and Indigenous artifacts, and was granted the "Royal" title in 1987. Merged with the provincial archives in 2003, it holds roughly seven million objects, specimens and records across its natural and human history galleries.
