An Art Deco gem on Granville Street, the Vogue Theatre is a landmark of Vancouver's entertainment district, crowned by its towering neon sign. Built in 1940-41 by the Odeon chain to host both film and live performance, it was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1993 and restored in 1998. With about 1,160 seats, it presents concerts, comedy, dance and stage productions.
