VanDusen Botanical Garden is a 22-hectare botanical garden in Vancouver's Shaughnessy neighbourhood on Oak Street. Opened in 1975 and operated by the City of Vancouver, it showcases thousands of plant species from around the world arranged by theme and ecosystem. The garden hosts guided tours, exhibitions and seasonal events, most famously its Festival of Lights during the winter holidays.
