The Portside Pub occupies a three-level heritage building at 7 Alexander Street in Vancouver's Gastown. Opened by local entrepreneur Mark Brand, it takes its cue from East Coast pub culture, pouring dozens of craft taps from local and international breweries alongside a maritime-inspired menu. Live bands play Sunday through Thursday, karaoke takes over Wednesdays and DJs run the weekends, and the room is a regular stop on Gastown pub crawls.
