The Rickshaw Theatre is a concert venue in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside on East Hastings Street. Built in 1971 as a cinema called the Shaw Theatre, part of the Shaw Brothers' film empire, it reopened as a live-music venue in 2009. Known for its excellent sightlines, it scales its capacity from 200 to 600 and hosts many international touring acts.
