The Museum of Vancouver (MOV) is the largest civic museum in Canada, set in waterfront Vanier Park in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. Founded in 1894, it is the city's oldest museum; its 1967 building, crowned by a dome echoing the woven hats of Northwest Coast First Nations, also houses a planetarium. The MOV presents exhibitions exploring the history, culture and evolving identity of Vancouver.
