A heritage landmark in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood on West Broadway, the Hollywood Theatre opened on October 23, 1935 with an Art Deco facade and neon signage by architect Harold Cullerne. Long run by the Farleigh family, this single-screen cinema on the city's heritage register has been restored and now serves as a cultural space for concerts, films and events.
