The Commodore Ballroom is an iconic concert venue on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. Opened in 1929, it is famous for its large sprung dance floor, which gives dancers a distinctive bounce. A cornerstone of the city's music scene with a capacity near 990, it has hosted countless rock, pop and indie acts and remains one of Canada's most beloved mid-sized halls.
