Events at Burnaby Winter Club

An ice sports club at 4990 Canada Way in central Burnaby, east of Vancouver. Volunteers opened the indoor rink in 1958 with eight sheets of curling ice. It now runs three ice surfaces: a year-round NHL-size rink, a seasonal 160-by-60-foot training sheet and a seasonal curling and activity arena. Minor and junior hockey, figure skating and curling share the building, and NHL players including Paul Kariya, Cliff Ronning and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins came up through the club.
