Events at Yonge-Dundas Square

This downtown Toronto public square sits at the southeast corner of Yonge and Dundas in the Garden District and has worked as an open-air stage since its completion in 2002, hosting concerts, community festivals, public art and large gatherings. Long known as Yonge-Dundas Square, it was renamed Sankofa Square on 14 December 2023, after a Twi word from Ghana meaning roughly to go back and retrieve.
