Events at The Opera House

The Opera House is one of Toronto's most historic performance venues, in the Riverdale neighbourhood. Opened in 1905 as the La Plaza Theatre, this Edwardian vaudeville house became a cinema and then, in 1989, a music venue. With a capacity of about 900, it has hosted legends such as Nirvana, Metallica and Foo Fighters. It also stages concerts, comedy and theatre.
