The Royal Alexandra Theatre is a historic theatre on King Street West, in the heart of Toronto's Entertainment District. Opened in 1907, it is the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in North America. Saved from demolition by Ed Mirvish in 1963 and beautifully restored, it presents major musicals and plays under the Mirvish Productions banner.
