The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto is a church in the Riverdale neighbourhood at 115 Simpson Avenue, in a 1907 building the congregation has occupied since 1991. A welcoming congregation founded in 1973 and openly affirming LGBTQ+ people, it played a historic role in legalizing same-sex marriage in Ontario. Its sanctuary regularly hosts concerts, including the Candlelight series.
