Exhibition Place is a large event site in Toronto along the Lake Ontario shoreline west of downtown, covering about 192 acres. It is the historic home of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), held annually from mid-August through Labour Day. The grounds bring together convention and exhibition centres, theatres, sports facilities and the famous Princes' Gates, opened in 1927.
