The Musée maritime de Charlevoix is housed in a former shipyard in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, at the foot of Les Éboulements and next to the ferry dock to Île-aux-Coudres. It tells the story of the golden age of the wooden schooners that carried goods along the St. Lawrence River for two centuries. Visitors can board the last surviving coastal-trading schooners, two of which are classified as historical heritage.
