Cuivres d'Art Albert Gilles, in Château-Richer on the Côte-de-Beaupré near Quebec City, combines a boutique and a museum devoted to the art of embossed copper. The workshop has carried on this craft since 1927, now passed down by the women of the Gilles family. The museum features an exhibition on the Life of Christ, fifty panels hand-embossed by Albert Gilles over some fifteen years. Visitors can try repoussé copperwork in hands-on interactive workshops.
