The Society for Arts and Technology, known as the SAT, is a cultural organization founded in 1996 by Monique Savoie on Boulevard Saint-Laurent, in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles. Under one roof it gathers a research lab, a training centre, a performance hall, a café-restaurant and the Satosphère, an immersive theatre under an 18-metre-wide, 11.5-metre-high dome fitted with eight video projectors. Electronic music, dance and digital art share the programme.
