On the second floor of 1231 Sainte-Catherine Street West, in downtown Montreal, Prison Island is the first Canadian home of a concept born in Scandinavia. It is neither quite an escape room nor an obstacle course: more than thirty separate cells, each holding its own challenge of logic, dexterity, memory or strength. Teams of two to five have ninety minutes to rack up as many points as they can, tackling the cells in any order they like.
