A flagship concert hall in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles, MTELUS stands on Sainte-Catherine Street East in the downtown core. The building opened in 1884 as a skating rink, later became a cinema and then the Metropolis nightclub, before L'Equipe Spectra turned it into a live venue in 1997. Renamed MTELUS in 2017 after major renovations, it holds up to 2,350 people and hosts major rock, pop and electronic touring acts.
