Perched on the ninth floor of the Montreal Eaton Centre, Le 9e is an Art Deco jewel designed by architect Jacques Carlu and inspired by the dining room of the ocean liner Ile-de-France. It first opened in 1931, closed in 1999, and reopened in May 2024 after a meticulous restoration. The space now holds a restaurant, a cocktail bar and a live-show hall that seats up to 500, hosting intimate performances including Candlelight concerts.
