1 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve;Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montreal, Quebec

A road course laid out on Ile Notre-Dame in Parc Jean-Drapeau, on an artificial island in the St. Lawrence built for Expo 67. Designed by Roger Peart, it opened on 6 October 1978, and two days later Gilles Villeneuve took his first Formula One win here. The track was renamed for him after his death in 1982. Its lanes are public roads, and the Canadian Grand Prix is its headline weekend.
