Arsenal art contemporain Montréal is a sprawling 80,000-square-foot contemporary art centre housed in a former 19th-century shipyard in the heart of Griffintown, on the north bank of the Lachine Canal. Founded in 2011 by collectors Pierre and Anne-Marie Trahan, it stages several exhibitions of Canadian and international artists each year, supports artist residencies, and doubles as an event venue for large immersive productions.
