A provincially run casino that opened on 24 March 1996 beside Leamy Lake in Gatineau, across the river from Ottawa. The complex houses the Théâtre du Casino, the largest performance hall in the Outaouais, seating between 650 and 1,068 depending on setup, with no seat more than 25 metres from the stage. Comedy, music, musicals and special events fill its calendar.
