The Dive Bar is a historic live music room on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton's Quarters District, just east of the downtown core. Its calendar leans loud and left of centre: punk, hardcore and metal bills, hip hop nights, goth and darkwave dance parties, karaoke and a monthly electronic night, many of them 18+. Covers are usually modest and the vibe is no-frills. Winterruption YEG 2027 uses the room for several showcases.
