Foote Field is the University of Alberta's outdoor stadium, on the South Campus in Edmonton. It opened on September 8, 2001, built as a legacy facility for the World Championships in Athletics held in the city that year. Its 3,500-seat east field is home to the Golden Bears football team and is laid out to Canadian Football League dimensions. The site also hosts university track and field, soccer and rugby.
